我的加州之旅 My Trip to California

Such title has not been come across my mind in my life, but sometimes you cannot imagine, it just happened. Just because I suddenly chose KL as the place of the starting of my career and just unexpectedly my superior resigned after 1 month I joined the company, I have this opportunity to go USA, attending this short training from a company which a coursemate of mine is working for. What a small world.

Narita Airport, Japan 日本成田机场

Here I am in the Narita Tokyo Airport. We arrived here in the morning for transit to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in the afternoon. JAL airlines provided with hotel accommodation even for this short period transit. And to go to Nikko Narita Hotel, you have to take a FOC bus at station 33.


SFO 三藩市国际机场

We boarded on Saturday evening towards SFO but we reached here in the morning and it was still Saturday~! Then we registered for the rental car and headed for Livermore, CA.

Residence Inn by Marriott, Livermore, CA

After about 1 hour of “left-side-drive”, we arrived safely at Residence Inn. The weather here was hot in the afternoon around 60-80°F. Sorry to my teachers, I forgot the °F and °C conversion already.

WAL*MART, Livermore

World famous super market- WAL*MART is just everywhere here. I bought some food and clothing from here. It is big, like Carrefour like Tesco.... things are not expensive as well but if you don’t attend to your trolley.... it will be taken away... and if you can’t find it back... you have to “recollect” those things you wanna buy... haha

KLA-Tencor


This is KLA-Tencor Livermore Learning Centre. You may think what so famous about? Erm... don’t ask me... ask Joyce. It was taken on the last day of my training. The instructor - Michael Shin treated us a Korean lunch on third day of training. The food not bad but the Tofu Soup... also nice... but it smell and taste just like Maggi Mee Curry Flavour~!!!


Cable Car, San Francisco
My only trip to Peer 39 (Fisherman Wharf) using this man-control cable car... along the way we pass by china town, lombard street, etc... then at last we met the sealion nad visted Hard Rock Cafe - San Francisco.
