Kuching Trip

Last Friday, we went to Kuching by airasia. On the 1st day, we tasted the Kolok Mee... so nice and the price is just RM2.50~Rm4 only.Kuching is like a small town, very clean, not many cars and motorbike. No traffic jam overthere... and believe me... I only saw 1 cat and 2 dogs during my trip.Well, many chinese there... others... look like chinese/malay/bumi, we actually cannot differentiate by looking at their face.People are quite friendly in Kuching, Malay(got tudung 1 i think malay gua) can eat in "pork-less" food (no halal sign ok) chinese restaurant or kopitiam.

Then we also visited the orang utan~! you only can see them twice daily during feeding time at 9am and 2.30pm.In the morning, we waited for 1 and a half hour for human-like creature but they just wanna have a good sleep after the rainy night. We gave up at 10.30am and went to the Bidayuh Long Houses...RM6 per entry and the long house is with family living inside (not like some built for tourist only) but my friend told me tat 1 we visited is quite a modern type long house. Anyway we asked for permission to enter 1 of the family house. The Bidayuh Lady welcomed us into the living room... at first she talked in bahasa... later on she found we spoke english too.... then we communicated using English.... her english is much better than us... her son studied in US somemore..

In da afternoon, we turned back to find our beloved friends.... After a good sleep (i believed) ... many of them came out for food~! and so lucky we were to see a dominant male coming out.... he is just like a KingKong... with scary face and long furs... other female and kids orang utan just fled away when they knew the giant was coming.

Seafood there is also with reasonable price. Along the waterfront area, a lot of souvenirs shop wating for you... and also the kuih lapis.. traditional items... and so on.I think Kuching is a place worth to visit. there are many other attraction that we did not go... cos we are more interested in makan and shopping.
